CLEARING 2025 IS NOW OPEN

ApprenticeshipMarketing Executive Apprenticeship (Online Delivery)

Course overview

Marketing executives help to shape, support and deliver marketing plans, working in conjunction with the marketing manager who will define the overall marketing strategy. On this apprenticeship, you'll gain the required skills to progress your marketing career and make a positive impact within a marketing team.

This course is delivered online, meaning there's a high degree of flexibility for apprentices to study alongside their work, and for employers to suit the needs of their business. You'll take part in regular workshops with your fellow students and you'll also receive dedicated 1-2-1 time with your tutor.

This course is also offered with flexible start dates to meet the needs of the employer and the apprentice, so you will never have to wait for the course to begin in the future. We call this method 'roll on and roll off' so you can pick the month that suits your needs the best to start.

Marketing is vitally important to all businesses, providing the insight to develop and deliver new products and services to meet ever-changing customer needs. It is the process of researching, developing, promoting and distributing, products or services through effective channels to engage with a range of target audiences. Occupations in marketing span most industries and sectors and the roles can sit within a specific company/agency that provides marketing deliverables and advice to external clients, or within an internal marketing team, delivering marketing activities to drive that business. Marketing teams generally work with external agencies to deliver specialist elements of their marketing campaigns.

The role of a marketing executive can be fairly broad within the marketing field and, as well as maintaining key marketing channels, planning and delivering marketing campaigns, and managing the production and distribution of marketing materials, a marketing executive may also be required to liaise and network with external stakeholders; conduct market research; and organise and attend events such as conferences, seminars, receptions and exhibitions.
