Not only is there tons of stuff to do on your doorstep, but we're also just a short journey away from London, Bournemouth, Winchester, and the New Forest, and a short ferry ride from the Isle of Wight.
If you love a bit of live music, you're in for a treat. Southampton is home to fantastic live music venues, including the O2 Guildhall, which is a regular stop for nationwide tours, and independent venues that showcase up-and-coming bands.

If you’re coming to one of our on-campus open days from outside the local authority of Southampton City Council, you can claim an Amazon voucher towards to cost of your travel. South Western Railway (SWR) is also offering discounted rail fares for travel to a Solent University open day.
