For Musical Theatre student Mia Golledge, performing has always been more than just a hobby. It is something she has been passionate about for years and a career she knew she wanted to pursue.

“I’ve always had a strong passion for performing and knew it was something I wanted to pursue as a career. After researching other courses, Solent stood out to me because of its strong focus on industry and valuable networking opportunities. I was especially drawn to how the course prepares students for real-world experiences.”

Now in her second year, Mia is developing the performance skills, professional confidence, and industry understanding that are helping her prepare for a future in both performing and teaching.

“After graduating, I hope to build a career where I can both perform and teach,” she says. “I’m passionate about developing my own skills as a performer while inspiring and supporting others to do the same. Both performing and teaching allow me to stay creative, but also allow me to help others feel passionate about performing too.”
