School of Technology and Maritime Industries Taster Day

During this exclusive launch-week event, college students will take part in hands-on, practice-led workshops across our state-of-the-art facilities - from marine, construction and fabrication workshops to biomedical labs and our maritime simulation suite. It’s a chance for them to step into a real university learning environment, explore future study options, and develop the skills that will shape their careers.

Students can get involved in sessions such as Applied Robotics, Hydromechanics, DNA Extraction, Chartwork, and Tide Adventures, each designed to bring technical subjects to life through real-world challenges.
