Presentation and poster submission

20-minute presentations

Presentations are for completed research projects only.

Abstracts should include the following:

• Title of presentation
• Author name(s) with the name of the presenter underlined
• Presenting author’s contact email
• 250-word abstract that discusses the core research question, methodology, key findings and originality. This should be submitted as a Word document in Calibri font type of size 12pt using single line spacing.

Posters

Posters are for both completed research projects and in-development research projects.

Please send the following information:

• Title of poster
• Author name(s) with the name of the presenter underlined
• Presenting author’s contact email
• 150-word brief description of research (purpose of investigation, data collection approach, main findings/expected findings). This should be submitted as a Word document in Calibri font type of size 12pt using single line spacing.

Email submissions to: studentconference.2026@solent.ac.uk with the subject '20 minutes presentation' or 'Poster' (delete as appropriate).

Note: Further details about presentation formats and poster formats will be shared with authors whose submissions are accepted. A detailed outline of the conference programme will also be shared after the submission deadline. Any questions/queries can be sent to the email above. Important dates

• Poster submissions close: 25 May 2026
