Colin has previously undertaken the role of practice learning coordinator and qualified practice teacher within both the Higher Education Institution role (Winchester University) and that of the local authority (Isle of Wight Council). He has practice experience with both the statutory and voluntary sectors with particular practice interests relating to the support of older people within the community; working with people who adopt challenging forms of communication; and the development of integrated, work-based learning.

Colin’s teaching commitments are centered upon the practice-learning elements of the degree course and the provision and development of effective partnerships with placement providers throughout the South East Region.
