Biography
Francesca is the course leader for BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science. She lectures in sport psychology and sport science. Francesca began teaching at Solent University in 2013.
She completed her PhD, titled Social Support in Performance Contexts at the University of Exeter.
Further information
Francesca has worked with a variety of athletes, teams and organisations providing psychological support for university athletes and many local athletes and teams. She has worked with the British Rowing Association, leading several workshops for their youth development squad.
Francesca has also worked closely with the Hampshire Talented Athlete Scheme providing one-to-one support, as well as workshops for athlete, coaches and parents. She provides psychological training and support to Solent's sport excellence programme athletes.
