Biography

Angus is an academically qualified professional with several years of experience within the education system. Angus holds a PhD titled 'A Framework Development for a BIM-Enabled Procurement Process in New Buildings in the Nigerian Architecture, Engineering and Construction Industry'. Additionally, Angus has an MSc in Construction Project Management and BEng in Civil Engineering. He is currently aiming to become an academic member the CIOB and subsequently become chartered.

Angus was appointed as a senior lecturer at Solent University in August 2021.

Angus has worked with several construction companies in Nigeria, such as Julius Berger, Reynolds Construction Company (RCC), and Siraj Consultant.

Before joining Solent University, Angus worked at Highbury College as a programme lead where he managed and ran a small team for the Built Environment Department. The students there attained qualifications that ranged from level 3 to level 5 and were predominantly certified by Pearson.

At the International College of Portsmouth (ICP), Angus worked in several roles, such as teaching Engineering Principles 101 and 102 to foundation students. He also, worked with civil engineering and quantity surveying students in tutorial sessions reinforcing what was learned during their first year at the university.
