Biography

Blessing is an experienced accountant and finance manager, financial controller, development and control analyst, and lecturer with a demonstrated history of working across various sectors.

He is skilled in econometrics and modelling, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and banking. Blessing holds multiple qualifications in marketing management (with commercial law), accounting and finance, economics, finance and banking, and economic and financial geography. Additionally, he has earned a Bloomberg certification.

Dr. Blessing Sibanda's research interests are in inclusive economic growth and resilience, regional and social inequalities, income inequality, financial geography, and financial innovation.

Dr. Blessing Sibanda developed three econometric models:

The Gini of Growth - a dynamic model used to measure inequality in the growth of earnings.
The Inequality Matrix - used to measure and classify regions or countries according to levels of income inequality.
The Inclusive Growth Matrix - used to measure and classify regions or countries according to levels of inclusive economic growth.
