Biography
James is a registered nurse with extensive experience within critical care and clinical research, having qualified in 2012.
James completed his BSc degree in Nursing and joined Southampton Solent University in 2022. He is currently a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
In his current role, James acts as a module lead (Level 5 and Level 6), academic assessor and RNDA (apprenticeship) lead for the BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing course.
Further information
James completed his BSc (Hons) in Adult Nursing in 2012 and worked as a staff nurse (Band 5) in critical care where he gained various experience on intensive care (ICU), coronary care (CCU) and high dependency care (HDU).
He moved into clinical research and worked on various research trials within a variety of specialities. During the Covid-19 pandemic, he worked on the various phase 1, 2 and 3 vaccine studies.
