Biography
Lynsey is a senior lecturer on the BSc (Hons) Business Management degree. She is also the level 4 leader, and the level 3 leader for the Foundation in Business and Law.
Lynsey joined Solent in 2012 and achieved her PGCTL(HE) in 2014. Lynsey attained a Distinction in her MA in Public Relations and Multimedia Communication in 2018.
As a level leader, Lynsey enjoys building relationships with students, to engage them in their learning opportunities and work together to ensure the best outcome for them. She has lectured in many modules, from level 3 to level 7, where she draws on previous business experience in her teaching.
Lynsey works with the Institute of Internal Communication on their MA in Internal Communication Management, and she is also an External Examiner for Ulster University in Belfast.

Prior to working at Solent University, Lynsey worked for a financial services company based in Southampton. Lynsey held a variety of positions in her 14 years there, including Business Delivery Specialist, Communications Consultant, and Training Adviser. During this time, she delivered training in Norway, Finland, Ireland and the UK, and took an active role in many large corporate projects, including supplier demonstrations of exchange traded assets, and changes to regulatory and compliance training.
Lynsey also took responsibility for organising events such as the customer services ‘Oscars’ for 850 staff, and she was responsible for managing the company’s training and competence scheme for customer services staff.
