Biography
A Spanish native, MarÃa del Pilar Garrido Sanz – known as Pilar - had been teaching her native language for many years before becoming a lecturer in tourism management at Solent University.
Pilar currently teaches marketing and tourism at foundation and degree level and is completing postgraduate studies in higher education. Her research interests are in tourism, with a focus on tourism impacts, cultural tourism and marketing tourism.
