Biography
Sasan began his education in 1983 and went to sea as a junior cadet in 1984. He graduated and received BSc in nautical studies, as well as a certificate of competency as second officer in 1988.
After gaining his certificate of competency, Sasan sailed as third, second and chief officer on different types of vessels until 1999.
Since 2000, Sasan has been sailing as a Master on various types of ocean-going vessels. He has also worked ashore in different positions and lectured at some maritime schools and universities.
