Biography

Thea began her nursing career in the Philippines, gaining four years of broad clinical experience and developing leadership skills as a charge nurse, coordinating shifts and supporting team development.

In 2019, she moved to the UK and worked in gastroenterology and endocrinology. During the pandemic, she adapted to rapidly changing clinical responsibilities, including respiratory and Covid positive care.

Before joining Southampton Solent University, Thea worked as an anticoagulation clinical nurse specialist, providing tailored patient education, advising inpatient teams, and promoting safe, evidence-based practice.

With her international experience, specialist clinical knowledge, and passion for education, Thea is committed to supporting nursing programmes and developing future healthcare professionals at Solent University.
