Aileen joined Southampton Solent University's Board of Governors in January 2026, and is a member of the People and Culture Committee.

Aileen is an award-winning executive leader, corporate affairs advisor, mentor, non-executive board member and a trustee in private, public and not for profit sectors. These include infrastructure, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, telecoms, technology, and consumer goods.
Aileen's expertise in effective strategic stakeholder engagement helps create commercial value and resolve business challenges.Â
Aileen is a board member and fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and co-chair of its Professional Practices Committee, as well as a member of its Diversity and Inclusion Network and Governance Committee. She is also a trustee and vice chair of Auditory Verbal UK and runs her own consultancy, ALT Associates Ltd.Â
