Don became a Board member in November 2019 and sits on the Audit Committee.
Experience
Born in Nigeria, Don Iro arrived in the UK, and at Solent University, in 2004 as an international student, where he studied, and graduated with a BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering in 2008.
In 2019, he was appointed independent governor for the University.
Don is an entrepreneur, turnaround executive and board level business leader. Industries Don has worked and invested in are digital and IT services, and supply chain and logistics.
He has served in multiple senior roles within the private and public sectors spanning the UK, Asia, Middle East, and Africa in large corporations as well as SMEs.
Don is an active supporter for diversity and inclusion in the workplace and community and provides mentorship on business, strategy, delivery, and leadership.
