When did you first decide you wanted to study PR?

When I found a course which catered for my particular interests, I had spent a gap year working with companies and came across PR so this course with its links with English was perfect.

Why did the Solent PR course stand out to you?

I loved the mix of the two subjects, the staff I met on an open day were so professional and passionate about the subject which motivated me to come here even more.

What has been your favourite unit so far?

The radio aspects of Year 1 were so much fun, with professional staff helping us in the studio developing skills I would have never thought I would get to.

What has been the highlight of studying PR at Solent so far?

The people, it's great being with a group who all have the same goals and are all as equally studious.

What are your plans for the summer?

I have a few contacts to get some PR experience in the Sailing World, being in Southampton is a great benefit as I can easily contact industry professionals!

What are your tips for A level students considering a PR degree?

Do your research into the right place and course for you, consider a joint honours degree and most importantly find something that really suits you.
