    CIM Level 4 Diagnostic Test Results – Minimum 40% in each area

    Please contact us for information about the diagnostic test.

    AND one (or more) of the following may be required

    • CIM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Marketing
    • CIM Foundation Certificate in Marketing
    • Any relevant Level 3 qualification
    • Any UK degree or international equivalent
    • International Baccalaureate (equivalent to NQF Level 3 and above)
    • Professional practice (suggested one year in a marketing role) plus diagnostic assessment onto Level 4

    If English isn’t your first language, you will also need to demonstrate you have achieved one of the following English language qualifications within the last two years:

    • IELTS Academic Module with an overall score of 6.5 (each component pass mark must be 6.0 or above).
    • Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English grade B or above.
    • Other English Language qualifications may be considered.

What you'll study

Modular Pathway

Course structure: 2 mandatory + 1 option 

  • Marketing (mandatory module) 

  • Integrated Communications (mandatory module) 


  • Customer Experience 

  • Digital Marketing

This qualification’s modular structure allows for complete flexibility – you can complete a full qualification, study as single module as a stand-alone Award, or even complete the full qualification and add an Award to it. 

For example taking the Marketing, Integrated Communications and Customer Experience modules would give you the certificate. If you then study the Digital Marketing module, you’ll receive a CIM Certificate in Professional Marketing with an Award in Digital Marketing.
