About the course

Successful completion provides you with entry to the first stage of the Postgraduate Certificate in Personnel and Development also offered by the Southampton Solent's School of Business, Law and Communications

The CIPD Intermediate Diploma Human Resource Management qualifications offered by the Southampton Solent Business and Law School provide students with a professional qualification that enables them to pursue a career in HR or line management.

This qualification is offered as either a Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) or a Diploma in Human Resource Development (HRD).

The diploma is a nationally recognised qualification from the CIPD and allows you to become a CIPD Associate Member.

Tuition fees

The 2018/19 fees are not yet available. For guidance, the 2017/18 fees were:

UK and EU part-time fees: £1,675
International part-time fees: Students from outside the EU are usually unable to obtain a visa for part-time study. Please visit our visas and immigration page for more information.
