Emmanuel is a data analyst at the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) with a unique career journey spanning finance, artificial intelligence, and health data science. After seven years in banking, he transitioned into data science, fueled by his passion for leveraging technology to drive equitable healthcare solutions. He earned a Distinction in his MSc in Applied Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from Solent University Southampton, UK, through an OfS scholarship, furthering his expertise in AI-driven public health.

Emmanuel’s work exemplifies his commitment to breaking barriers in health data science. He has developed AI-powered predictive models for cardiovascular healthcare, presenting his findings at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence for Healthcare in London (2024). Beyond this, he has also contributed to advancing inclusivity in health data, with notable research on optimizing HIV treatment in developing countries—work that has been published in the British Journal of Medicine and Medical Research and the World Journal of Pharmaceutical Research.

As a proud alumnus of the HDR UK Black Internship Programme, Emmanuel actively champions diversity and social mobility in data science.
