Solent Insight Series: the pursuit of happiness - a psychology taster session

Our Widening Participation Team will be appearing at Southampton’s Black Businesses, Art and Music (BBAM) Festival at the Southampton O2 Guildhall.
Solent is delighted to be partnering with the Black Business, Arts and Music (BBAM) festival once again this year which is taking place at Guildhall Square on Sunday 28 September. This free community event, led by Doctor Abdoulie Sanneh and The United Voices of African Associations (TUVAA), features a wealth of street art, poetry, music, food, fashion, and businesses across Southampton.
The event officially opens at 11am with a wreath and flower laying ceremony in remembrance of black soldiers who died in WW1 and WW2 at the cenotaph. This is then shortly followed by a military parade from the square to the cenotaph. Other activities taking place during the event include:
