The National Student Survey results are in and, for the fourth year in a row, BA (Hons) Public Relations and Communication is number 1 in the UK for student satisfaction.

Find out what three of our current students have to say about their experiences on the course:

“The staff are extremely supportive and professional. They are aware of the current PR industry and really gauge your learning towards becoming employable and well-rounded individuals. Having the opportunity to work with other joint honours students has really helped me to get the best out of my time at Solent. I have found that the two subject areas I am studying often fall hand in hand and complement each other.”  Claudia Wilson, BA (Hons) English and Public Relations, year two.

“The areas we cover, such as the work placement module, allows us to prepare to apply for placements which is so important. Events such as Meet the Professionals gives us the opportunity to network, which is a vital part of the industry.” Abi Kitcher, BA (Hons) Public Relations and Communication, year three.

“For me, Solent’s PR and Communication course is unrivalled. The balance between academic work and the vast opportunities for real world application cannot be found on any other course. It’s a well known fact that there is more to PR than meets the eye, but the highly skilled and supportive staff are always beside you giving you the information you need to go out into the communications world and have a great career!” Laura Bradley, BA (Hons) Public Relations and Communication, year three.

It was great to see students, graduates and staff sharing their love for the course on Twitter:
