Solent University has climbed a further 15 places in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019, and is now ranked 85 out of 132 institutions.

The Times and the Sunday Times Good University Guide league table ranks universities using measures including: graduate prospects;  teaching excellence, student satisfaction and completion rate.

Strong performances in the 'Teaching Quality', 'Student/staff ratio', 'Student experience' and 'Services/facilities spend' measures had a particularly positive influence on the University’s overall performance this year.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Graham Baldwin said: “This is great news for the University, and everyone at Solent. It comes as we are already celebrating substantial rises in the Guardian league table, our National Student Satisfaction survey results and our TEF Silver award for the quality of our teaching – all of which is testament to the hard work and commitment shown by both students and staff.”

The University was also ranked 47 out of 132 institutions for its social inclusion.

The full UK rankings and university profiles were published on The Times and the Sunday Times website on Sunday 23 September.
