Did you feel that the course prepared you for going into industry?

Yes, my lecturers were so helpful especially in my last year when completing my FMP, I was able to cover all the skills that I use today within my job as well as showing me that marketing was really the industry I wanted to go into. We often had guest lecturers who would give a great industry perspective and were able to ask so many questions that really prepared me for what the industry expected of you.

Have you been able to use the knowledge and skills you learnt on the course in your job roles?

Absolutely, I use all the software that I was taught at university including InDesign and Photoshop. Most importantly, the skill of time management that I especially got to grips with in my final year is something that is essential to my job role.

What did you enjoy about your time at Solent?      

I loved the Fashion Management and Marketing course as I always have had a passion for fashion and marketing and the lectures at the university made me love them both even more. The support throughout the course was amazing and especially during my final year, with my hard work and their support I achieved a first-class honours, which if you asked me during my first two years at Solent I would not have believed possible!
