Grace Davis

Student Governor

Board of Governors

Grace was elected as Student Governor in July 2019 after being elected as Head of Student Voice for the University's Students' Union.  Grace graduated from Solent in summer 2019 with a first-class honours bachelor degree in International Tourism Management.

While studying at Solent, Grace took a number of opportunities to work within different departments of the University as a student ambassador and intern. She particularly enjoyed promoting the international opportunities available at the University, including the study abroad programme, after completing a semester at a university in Finland.

Grace has developed a keen interest in the cruise industry while studying at Solent and has enjoyed working with the Cruise Lines International Association. She has had an active role in the leadership and development of a number of societies while studying, including the Student Scout and Guide Organisation (Solent SSAGO).

As Head of Student Voice within the Students' Union, Grace is working with the other officers on a number of campaigns to improve the lives of students in the University. This includes safer parks, student access to kitchens on campus and an anti-spiking initiative. More information on the Students' Union's campaigns and their work within the University can be found at
