Jamie Clarke

Biography

Originally from the north west, Jamie did his undergraduate work at Sheffield in English Literature before pursuing his real passion - film and media - at postgraduate level.

He moved to Southampton to join the media team at Solent a long time ago now! He is now course leader for the Foundation Year in Media, and also teaches on BA (Hons) Media Production.

Jamie's research interests include film and media, especially the political economy of media work.

In his spare time, Jamie likes all things cinema, trying to play the piano, and getting progressively worse at yoga.
