Biography
In 1989 Leigh studied art and design at Portsmouth Art College for a first diploma. He then took some years out from progressing with education and worked in a sail-makers for an engineer helping to construct and install medium to large scale metal and tensioned fabric works in commercial spaces. Leigh then returned to education after four years.
Leigh studied Art, Design and Media (Illustration) BA Hons at Portsmouth University, graduating in 1998. In the summer of that year, he began work for a niche training company producing video-based media for the cleanroom industry (pharmaceuticals, microelectronics and aerospace). He finally took over the company and now runs it as a small concern selling existing training topics online to global companies.
Leigh came to Solent in August 2019 as a technician instructor teaching CAD and Adobe software to interior design students.
