Paula Elliott

Biography

Paula teaches law to non-lawyers, mainly business modules where students require a good understanding of basic principles of law, but additionally, she has delivered serviced modules to construction and built environment courses.

Paula has an LLM in employment law and for many years has been a branch officer for UCU. She has undertaken many roles but has mainly been involved with case work and has provided support to co-workers facing disciplinary and grievances.

She is a qualified solicitor and has, in the past, spent research time at a local solicitors’ firm. More recently, she has taken on litigation modules in the new SQE including professional practice.

Paula is a carer and has an interest in social justice, particularly for those who face real challenges in life because of a physical or mental disability.
