Biography
Following qualification as a Physiotherapist at Keele University in 2007, Tom has gained a wealth of industry-specific experience in various clinical settings. He has enjoyed roles working in professional sport, as well as in a host of NHS, and private practice settings.
Tom joined Southampton Solent University in 2015 as a Clinical Physiotherapist and has since been able to apply his knowledge and experience as a Senior Lecturer on the BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Therapy programme.
Tom also has an MSc (Dist.) in Athletic Development and Peak Performance and is currently conducting his PhD research investigating the role of the upper limbs in lower limb kinematics.
In addition, Tom has a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
Tom is a keen runner, and lives in the New Forest with his wife and two children.
