There are many ways you can build connections with our students and academics.

Employer in the foyer

Promote your opportunities and raise your profile on campus by booking a stand in our foyer. This is a great way to distribute your promotional material, engage with students and enhance your brand. Many students prefer this one-to-one style of interaction.

Employer presentation

Delivering an employer presentation is an opportunity for you to meet with students and graduates in an informal environment, informing them of opportunities you have to offer and promoting your organisation. You can run your own presentation, or you can come along and talk to our students in their lectures.

Previous presentations have included:

  • information about organisations or professional bodies,
  • career opportunities (graduate jobs, gap years, work placements, volunteering and work experience vacancies),
  • recruitment guidance and procedures, and
  • overviews of an industry sector.

If you're interested in participating in workshops, exhibitions, presentations or networking events, please email employers@solent.ac.uk

Careers fairs

We run an annual careers fair - an amazing chance to chat to our students and graduates on a one-to-one basis, as well as an opportunity to network with other businesses.

Each year our fair is bigger and better than ever. To find out more about the next event and how you can get involved, please email employers@solent.ac.uk.

The whole Morgan Sindall team were blown away by the level of attendance. I have done quite a few of these over the years and this was right up there.
