About the course

Develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills to be an effective leader. Learn how to drive performance and sustainability in organisations. Study while continuing to work in industry, supported by an experienced academic team

Solent’s Senior Leader Master’s Degree Apprenticeship follows the MBA Master of Business Administration curriculum. This is dual-accredited with the CMI Level 7 Strategic Management and Leadership Diploma, which is embedded across key units. Upon completion of the apprenticeship, you will be eligible to apply for Chartered Manager status and Fellowship of the CMI. This will be subject to management experience and application process.

You’ll have the opportunity to engage with a number of organisations. You'll investigate real life business situations and challenges. This is achieved through an industry guest speaker programme, visits to businesses, and completion of work-based assignments. Professional mentoring and reflective practice will further develop your leadership skills to take forward in your management career.

The degree is designed to be flexible and fit around your own working schedule. You'll study on a part-time basis, spending ten long weekends in total (Friday - Sunday) at the University, with additional support to prepare you for the End Point Assessment (EPA).
