Life in Southampton

Our East Park Terrace campus is in the heart of the city centre, which means you're within walking distance of a range of bars, pubs, nightclubs, restaurants, shops, cinemas, maritime museums, and more!

If you fancy travelling further afield, the cities of London, Bournemouth, Portsmouth (where you can visit HMS Victory and the stunning remains of the Tudor ship, the Mary Rose) and Winchester are close enough for a day trip of shopping, sightseeing and fine dining. Or if you prefer spending time in green spaces, the beautiful New Forest National Park and an exhilarating ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight are also within easy reach.

If you love the buzz of a live music event, you're in for a treat. Southampton is home to a number of live music venues, including the O2 Guildhall, which is a regular stop for nationwide tours, and independent venues that showcase up-and-coming bands.
