The AlterG® Anti-Gravity Treadmill® is specifically designed to help with training and rehabilitation allowing you to:

  • Reduce gravity's impact by reducing body weight by 0–80% in 1% increments.
  • Rehabilitate lower extremity injuries with less pain and less impact.
  • Improve mobility, strength and safety for those with neurological conditions.
  • Provide a safe way to lose weight and exercise more intensively while unweighted.
  • Train without pain and reduce the stress to joints and muscles.
  • Recover effectively and with less pain after training or competition.
The AlterG®Anti-Gravity Treadmill® is frequently used by individuals with lower extremity injuries and also athletes aiming to train with less impact (e.g. recovery runs).

However, it is anticipated that you will come prepared with your own training and/or rehabilitation plan which has been set by a suitable physiotherapist or coach. Solent University will not take responsibility if the rehabilitation session you carry out is not suitable for your current injury status.
