With the World Cup in full swing, we've been watching with a keen eye – not only to cheer on our favourite teams, but also to spot members of our alumni community who have gone on to work in The Beautiful Game.

Solent alum Marc Rochon is now working as a analyst for both the Croatian National Team and AL Ain FC in Abu Dhabi, and is responsible for team tactical analysis of the players and opposition:

Tom Cooper has been working as an insight analyst for the Football Association to complete research projects across all age groups that help inform future practice:

Graduate Ben Rosen works as a fitness coach for the Denmark National Team and Malmö FF, and where he looks after the physical preparation and performance of professional football players:

Our graduates can also be found a bit closer to home - dotted across the UK to work with top teams from Newcastle to Southampton.

Many of our students get their start working with professionals while still on their course. Most recently, Swindon Town FC paid our students a visit for two days of testing in our sports labs.

During their visit, we caught up with Solent alum, Hollie Augustus, who now works as a soft tissue therapist with the team to support the physical recovery of players post training and games and leading injury prevention strategies:
