India is a lecturer on the Design Foundation Programme teaching and unit leading on the make-up and hair design pathway, and the art pathway. She is the tutor for the art group. India is also a unit leader on level 2 BA (Hons) Photography and BA (Hons) Prosthetics and Special Effects. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and has been employed at Solent University since 2016.

After graduating from her BA (Hons) in Photography at The Arts University Bournemouth, she went on to study for an MA in Photographic Studies at Westminster University, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at Oxford Brookes University, and then an MA in Education at Oxford Brookes University. India is currently a part-time research student, embarking on a practice-based photography PhD at Solent University.

India’s photographic work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally. She has been invited to various universities as a guest lecturer, worked in visual merchandising, and was an art ambassador for British Art Show 8.

    India has a postgraduate certificate in education, a master's in education and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She has taught in both further and higher education.
