Ken has been teaching CGI and VFX to degree level for over 15 years and has been responsible for designing innovative degree courses across three providers, including Solent. He teaches animation, motion capture, rigging, simulation effects, VFX coding and leads the final year projects as well as finding time for generalist freelancing work across all areas of CGI.
Ken’s passion is connecting students to industry for networking and feedback on their work. He is instrumental in organising the industry events that his courses are renowned for, where students not only hear the latest cutting-edge workflows and careers advice, but also get to meet and interact with potential employers.
Outside Solent, Ken is a family man with three daughters, and is an occasional preacher at his local church. He likes astronomy, rugby, Formula 1, real ales and keeping chickens.
