Dr Simon Fox: New, Independent Chair of Hampshire Constabulary Ethics Committee
Dr Simon Fox, Associate Professor of Criminal Justice and Legal Education and Head, Solent Law School, has been appointed as the first independent Chair of Hampshire Constabulary Ethics Committee.

Commenting on his appointment Dr Simon Fox says: “I am honoured to have been appointed Chair. Ethical conduct must be understood, encouraged, scrutinised, and at the heart of the Constabulary and its decision making. We must continually encourage a culture of inclusion and high ethical standards.”
The Ethics Committee has a key role in enhancing external and internal trust and confidence in the ethical governance and actions of Hampshire Constabulary. The Committee will identify organisation improvement opportunities to promote the core values of integrity, impartiality, public service and transparency.
