Solent Law School appoints new Visiting Fellow
Paula Swain, Partner in national law firm Shoosmiths and Head of the National Business Debt Recovery Team has been appointed as a Visiting Fellow of the Law School at Solent University.
Paula heads Shoosmiths’ national business to business (B2B) Debt Recovery Team, and regularly advises creditor companies on their finance and business disputes. She is accustomed to managing litigation portfolios for a range of large to medium sized corporates in sectors from utilities to recruitment.
Of the new appointment Paula commented: “Education and mentoring are key cornerstones in my life, and I am looking forward to collaborating with and supporting Solent University students and staff. I am proud to be a lawyer and business leader in the Solent region, and I hope that my experience and enthusiasm will help to inspire and encourage.”
