Claire has developed a wide range of skills working across multiple industries in both the private and public sector for market leaders such as Nike, Manchester United Football Club and Right Management Consultants, and public sector organisations such as higher education institutions, councils and the NHS.  

In her role as course leader, Claire is enthusiastic about embracing continual improvements to the student experience and constantly challenging the developments of the course, where she can not only draw upon her own teaching experience, but also from her work as an external examiner at other universities. She also regularly attends and presents at internal and external conferences.

  1. Industry experience

    Claire has worked in the public and private sector for global market leaders including Nike and Manchester United Football Club.
  2. Teaching experience

    Claire has taught for eight years across many courses, both in traditional and blended learning pedagogies, and to standard and non-standard course deliveries.
  3. Research interests

    Claire's research interests lie in academic pedagogy, particularly around supporting blended learning students and student support through academic mentoring. Her other area of research interest is enhancing learning pedagogies through technology.
