Biography

Clifford Okeh is a senior lecturer in civil engineering and construction technology and unit leader within the design and built environment group. He joined the University in 2013 after working as a senior lecturer and manager built environment programme at Eastleigh College for three years.

Prior to that, he has previously spent ten years in industry as a manager and senior engineer for contractors including Balfour Beatty and engineering supervisor for Her Majesty’s Forces. He holds an MSc in structural engineering from Imperial College London and a postgraduate certificate in education (PGCE) from the University of Portsmouth as well as PRINCE2 certification.

Currently, he is a PhD research candidate in structural and civil engineering at the University of Portsmouth. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

He is engaged in teaching at undergraduate level both in civil engineering and construction management programmes. He provides student support at all levels in relation to teaching and learning, supervise student dissertation project and also involved with student placement and employability skills framework at the University.
