Biography

A. Damian Santamaria is Argentinian born from Italian family and graduated with an MA in visual communication at the UNLP (Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina). After living in North London for the past 20 years, Damian worked in the areas of visual communication, advertising, publishing, film and ethical-fashion.

He's an influencer of ethical-fashion and is co-founder director of Sublime, the first international sustainable lifestyle magazine. The magazine is a pioneering lifestyle publication, about environmental and social sustainability and is distributed in 30 countries. The magazine is a vehicle for communicating positive values to mainstream audiences. 

Damian is a visiting fellow to the School of Business, Law and Communication at Solent University and is also an associate lecturer for the School of Media, London College of Communication (University of the Arts London).

He's also a partner of EU Erasmus Plus, and leads educational trips to remote areas of Europe contemporising craft and creating cultural values in rural areas

Damian is also a speaker and panelist at: Amsterdam International Fashion Week - Sustainable Fashion, Central Saint Martins UAL, Goldsmiths University, London College of Fashion and University for the Creative Arts.
