Biography

Lisa manages all ten fashion-related undergraduate degrees within the School of Art, Design and Fashion. She has been teaching in HE for 19 years and has extensive experience in learning and teaching, course design, validation, accreditation, recruitment, retention and management. She has worked with independent accrediting bodies on numerous occasions and been at the forefront of internationalisation, NSS, TEF and DLHE initiatives. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

  1. Research interests

    Lisa's research interests centre around student engagement, learning needs and curricula design to reflect the needs of the 21st century learning, including the promotion of a symbiotic relationship between academia and industry. The Living CV is a current research project which aims to help students understand the currency of their learning and apply it to the workplace.
