Trish Morris joined Solent University from the BBC and has over 40 years experience in the television and film industry. She started her career as a 3rd assistant wardrobe director at the Royal Opera House. She trained at the BBC as a trainee assistant film editor and continued to work for them as an assistant film editor working on programs that included Coldiz, Dr Who and the Onedin Line.

After leaving the BBC Trish freelanced as an editor for the BBC and several independent film production companies. She joined Television South in Southampton as a senior editor and then a supervisory editor.
