Seamus was born in Belfast and now lives in London. Five volumes of his work have been published, two by Marion Boyars Ltd and three by Harwood Academic (editor Robert Robertson) including a book about Israeli dramatists - Dialogues In Exile.

Seamus was writer in residence at Mishkenot Shananim in Jerusalem in 1995 where he collaborated with Israeli dramatist Miriam Kainy on HYPATIA - National Theatre Studio. His plays have also been produced in Israel, USA and Europe.

Seamus is currently working on a new play: The Nun, the Priest and the Christian Brother.
