Biography

Steve began his professional career as a trainer/teacher, in 1992 working in the Department of Health & Social Security. He attained a degree in professional training and development with Leeds Metropolitan University in 2006.

After a change of career he joined a mental health and community services NHS Trust in 2008.

Steve is an experienced teacher in health and social care and spent seven years as a facilitator in lifelong learning.

His specialisms are communications, management skills and customer service/patient care as well as teaching on clinically-based subjects - CRT, dementia awareness and introduction to psychosis. 

He am currently studying for an MSc in Public Health at Bournemouth University.
