Biography

After qualifying as a nurse in 1990, Sue graduated from the University of Southampton with a BSc (Hons) and an MSc in nursing and has had a clinical and teaching career since then. She has worked and taught in elderly care, acute care, adult and paediatric intensive care. Since joining the team at Southampton Solent University, Sue has reduced her clinical hours to be able to focus more on teaching, but she regularly works with children and adults in the community and the hospital to ensure she remains up to date and in-touch with changes in health care.
