Lisa manages all fashion-related undergraduate degrees within the Faculty of Creative Industries, Architecture and Engineering.
She has been teaching in HE for 19 years and has extensive experience in learning and teaching, course design, validation, accreditation, recruitment, retention and management. She has worked with independent accrediting bodies on numerous occasions and been at the forefront of internationalisation, NSS, TEF and DLHE initiatives.
Lisa is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Lisa's research interests centre around student engagement, learning needs and curricula design to reflect the needs of 21st century learning, including the promotion of a symbiotic relationship between academia and industry. The Living CV is a current research project which aims to help students understand the currency of their learning and apply it to the workplace.

Lisa has twice been nominated for the Leadership in HE award.
