Associate Lecturer
Faculty of Business, Law and Digital Technologies
Kristina is an associate lecturer in human resources and leadership development, with a keen interest in innovations in experiential learning. She holds a BSc in Psychology, an MSc in Human Resource Management and a PGCert in Learning and Teaching. Kristina is currently undertaking her PhD in the gamification of leadership development.
Before moving to academia, Kristina spent 10 years in senior HR roles, primarily in the NHS, up to and including board level. Her main career focus has been leadership and organisational development, particularly how people initiatives add value to organisations.
Kristina is certified in the facilitation of a number of psychometric tools, is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a member of the Division of Occupational Psychology for the BPS and a Fellow of the HEA.
Kristina started her HR career on the NHS graduate management training scheme and went on to develop and lead the people development function in a number of NHS hospitals over the following years. More latterly this experience focused on cultural and leadership development within NHS trusts based on an evidenced-based approach using people analytics.
Kristina has also completed temporary/consultancy contracts with a number of private sector and charity organisations, focused on talent and HR/OD strategy development.
