Many of our health, medical science and social courses are accredited or endorsed by professional bodies such as the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), the Chartered Institute for Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA), Social Work England, and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This ensure that the courses meet high industry standards and enhance graduates' employability. 

To work as a nurse in the UK, you need a degree in nursing. Once you graduate, you must be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). For your degree, you need to choose a nursing specialism: adult, children, mental health, or learning disability.

Entry requirements for nursing degree courses typically include at least two (usually three) A-levels or equivalent qualifications at level 3, such as T levels or BTECs, plus supporting GCSEs including English, maths, and a science (usually biology or human biology). 

The course includes 2,300 hours of clinical practice as a work experience placement. Students work with partner NHS Trusts, hospice services, primary care, prison services, nursing homes, and the private sector, gaining valuable real-world experience.
