Travelling to campus
Our city-centre location means there are many options for travelling to campus, with excellent transport links from within the city and further afield.
Student life
Just because you're living at home, it doesn't mean you have to miss out on student life.
To get you started, we organise loads of social events during Welcome Week, from barbecues to film screenings, gigs, and treasure hunts. Check out Hello Uni and the student portal for times.
There are also so many sport clubs and societies you can join to meet like-minded people.
You'll also have access to the same student support services through our Student Hub - the team are there to give advice on studying, wellbeing, or financial concerns.
Finally, why not take a look at Campus Jobs - the University's part-time job service for students. It’s a great way to boost your skills, meet new people, and make the most of your time at university - all while getting paid!

Short-term accommodation
If you're planning a late-night study session or need to be on campus for a period of time and you think it may be better to stay close by, we offer short-term accommodation for students for up to seven days. Our accommodation team can talk you through it and help arrange it for you.
